No. We only allow trained service dogs at Turkey Creek. Emotional support dogs are not trained service animals!

No. We do not rent kayaks. Contact: Paddling Pardise at 321.258.4492, or Palm Bay Marina at 321.723.0851


No. There is no fee to visit the park.


Maybe. Manatees and alligators are wild creatures that come and go as they please. Manatee frequent Turkey Creek, and alligators live in the creek, but we can never guarantee that you will see them.


Our bike trails are located east of the main Sanctuary, across Turkey Creek. (Please see our biking page for directions to the bike trails.)


The park is open dawn to dusk, 365 days a year. The Nature Center is open 7 days a week from 9am to 4pm.


Yes. Maps are available at our outdoor Kiosk at the park's entrance or inside the Nature Center.


Yes. Our boardwalk and some trails are suitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and strollers. No other wheeled vehicles are allowed within the Sanctuary.


Many individuals walk the boardwalk and trails alone every day. We are fairly busy, so you are rarely totally alone. However, if you want to feel safer, the boardwalk would be your best option. 


Yes. You must contact the rangers to make arrangements before the event. 321.676.6690


No. We do not accept any unwanted animals. If you find injured wildlife, call "Florida Wildlife Hospital" at 321.254.8843


No. Fishing is not allowed from the shoreline or the boardwalk within the Sanctuary boundaries. However, fishing is permited if you are on the water in a boat. Fishing is also allowed at Ais Trail Park and Goode Park, which are both downstream from the Sanctuary.
